Joanne & John’s Pre Wedding Photography at Rowley Manor

I am pleased to share the pre wedding photography shoot for Joanne and John who are getting married in April at Rowley Manor. Little Weighton. It’s always a pleasure to be back at Rowley Manor and the team there always take good care of their guests. We all braved a cold evening for the shoot and are hoping for a bit more warmth on the big day. Joanne and John were great fun to work with and we are very much looking forward to photographing their big day!

Preview Wedding Photography for Jamie and Craig at the Hallmark, North Ferriby

I am delighted to share with you the preview wedding photography for Jamie and Craig who were married on Saturday at the Hallmark Hotel, North Ferriby. This was our first wedding of the season and it was a wonderful way to start the year. Jamie looked gorgeous in her dress from Jacqueline’s of Beverley. Bridesmaids Amber, Ellie and Lillie wore in teal dresses, that were complimented perfectly by the flowers from Grahams florist. The boys looked smart in their suits from Slaters and we gave a helping hand with fastening on their buttonholes. The weather was a little overcast, but luckily we only had a slight spotting of rain whilst we were doing the group photographs after the ceremony. The best man Phil and ushers Chris and Old did a sterling job of rounding everyone up for the photographs, which made our job so much easier. Thanks to everyone at the Hallmark for their assistance and cooperation. This was a really lovely wedding and Jamie and Craig were absolutely delightful to work with. We wish them every happiness in their future life together and look forward to sharing the rest of their wedding photography with them.

Pre Wedding Photography at Elsham Hall with Rita and Mark

Yesterday we did the pre wedding photography shoot for Rita and Mark. It was particularly cold, and the rain was pretty relentless, but despite the terrible weather we had such fun doing their photography. They are getting married in April at Elsham Hall so we had a brief dash around the gardens taking whatever shelter we could get under the trees! Rita and Mark were very easy to work with and we are very much looking forward to photographing their special day.

Jamie & Craig’s Pre Wedding Shoot at the Hallmark Hotel

I am pleased to share with you our first pre wedding photography shoot of the 2017 season. Jamie and Craig are getting married at the Hallmark Hotel, North Ferriby in March and we met up with them yesterday for a chat about their arrangements and for a quick photo shoot. It was a cold, damp day with very little light and a little soggy under foot but undeterred, we all braved the winter weather to do our shoot. Jamie and Craig were lovely to work with and we are very much looking forward to doing their wedding photographs.

Wedding Photography at Rise Hall with Rachel & David

I am pleased to share with your the preview wedding photography for Rachel and David who were married on Saturday at Rise Hall.

We arrived bright and early with preparations for the big event well underway. It is always nice when the couple are getting ready in the same location as it affords us a little of flexibility if things don’t go according to plan. The bridal preparations were running a little late, so we switched the schedule and completed the groomsmen portraits first. David, Phil and Ed looked really smart in their suits from Slaters and their buttonholes were provided by Floral Lounge. Soon after we went to see Rachel who was getting was getting ready with bridesmaids Wahyan, Wahmen, Saba and Sarah. The girls all looked beautiful  in their gold dresses, with Sarah the matron on honour in pastel grey.  Rachel looked totally stunning in her dress from Epenay Bridal Newcastle. We completed the bridal portraits in short sessions, so that Rachel was able to get the rest that she needed. This was lovely and offered us another photo opportunity, when the bridemaids joined her on the bed for a brief lay down before the big event. As always, the time just disappeared and dad John soon came to collect his daughter.

The bridesmaids were the height of elegance and sophistication as they completed their profession down the aisle ahead of the bride, whilst the string trio played. Rachel and her dad followed, and there were a few teary eyes as the bride met her groom.  Guests Tare and Marie delivered lovely readings before the happy couple exchanged their rings. Following the ceremony guests enjoyed a celebratory drink and canapés, and were entertained by a magician, whilst we headed outside with Rachel and David to complete the formal group photographs.

We had to work rather quickly as the light was fading fast, but managed to get everything done just in time. Guests did an amazing job of showering the happy couple with confetti, and were so enthusiastic with their celebratory cheer that we almost lost sight of the couple!

The reception room looked beautiful and was designed by Cherry Williams with the cake made by Popping Pickering completing the picture. The celebrations continued in the traditional manner with speeches, the cake cut and first dance.

We had an amazing day with Rachel, David and their guests. Our special thanks go to Rachel’s parents, Sharon and John, who were incredibly helpful and made us feel so welcome throughout the day. Rachel and David are a lovely couple and have had to face some major challenges in the last couple of years, and their commitment and love for each other has sustained them along the way. We wish them every happiness in their future life together and look forward to sharing the rest of their wedding photography  with them.
