We had a lovely day photographing Hannah and Ben’s wedding yesterday, at Tickton Grange, near Beverley, East Yorkshire. This wedding was a little bit special for us as we have literally know Ben since he was a twinkle in his dads eye! Ben lived a few doors away from us for many years and was a buddy of our son Alex from playgroup through to secondary school and beyond! Ben holds a special place in our hearts and we are delighted that he has found a really lovely girl like Hannah to share his life with. Hannah’s stunning dress was from Deborah Moore, in Hessle and her bouquet was made by Sanctuary Flowers. We started our day with Hannah and her bridesmaids Kayleigh, Kayleigh and mum Kath, who were busy getting ready whilst we took some photographs of the all important details. After a quick portrait of Hannah, we headed out to meet Ben and his best man Craig, who were soon joined by dad Dave, and brothers Nick and Tom for photographs. It was really lovely to see them all again and they were joined by Bens friends for more photos. Before long, it was time for the arrival of the bride and the ceremony. The Rose Room at Tickton Grange, looked beautiful as the bride made her way down the aisle with her friend Kayleigh, and there were a few tears from loved ones. We were fortunate in that the English weather was on our side and we were able to get the group photographs done outside straight after the ceremony and the sun put in a very brief appearance. The couples autumnal colours looked stunning against the autumn leaves on the trees whilst we did the bridal portraits. The traditional speeches followed the wedding breakfast and both Ben and his best man Craig had everyone laughing and cheering! It was a true privilege to photography this wedding, and I must confess to having a tear in my eye on more than one occasion. David and I wish Hannah and Ben a lifetime of love, laughs and happiness and send them lots of hugs.
