Pre wedding photography with Victoria and Joe at Crab Manor, Thirsk

On Saturday we met up with Victoria and Joe who are getting married at Crab Manor, Thirsk. We were very lucky to get a bright sunny morning for the photoshoot, as the gardens at Crab Manor are beautiful for photographs. We also had a lovely chat in the main house, with Victoria and Joe, about the arrangements for their wedding day. They will be sharing the day with an intimate group of their close family and friends. Victoria and Joe were such great fun to work with and we are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding day.

Pre Wedding Photography with Becky and Sam

On Tuesday evening we met up with Becky and Sam who are getting married in October at the fabulous Rowley Manor. It is always a joy to work at Rowley as Amanda and her amazing team always offer us a very warm welcome. Aside from that, Rowley offers many lovely locations for photography and on Tuesday we were lucky enough to be able to shoot when the sun was about to set which affords some beautiful light for photography. So just when we thought things could not get any better with stunning light and a lovely location, we then were able to work with what can only be described as our dream clients! Becky and Sam where such fun to be with, totally at ease with one another but more importantly, they were absolutely at ease in front of the camera! All of these factors made our job very easy and it certainly didn’t feel at all like work! Needless to say, that we are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding day and hoping for some lovely autumn sunshine for their photographs.

A Rainy Day Wedding with Ruth and Ritch

I am delighted to share with you the preview wedding photographs for Ruth and Ritch who were married on Saturday at St Anthony’s church on Beverley Road. We started our day with the bride at home, photographing the details, before doing some lovely bridal portraits of Ruth, who looked stunning in her dress from Elite Bridal. Her flowers we from Floral Studio. By the time we met up with Ritch at the church, the rain had already started to fall so we had to work quickly to capture some photographs of Ritch with his best man Carl and brother Shaun, before everyone headed inside to await the bride. Ruth arrived in style in a white Rolls Royce, and Newland String played Pachelbels canon as her dad walked her down the aisle. We were made very welcome by the priest Anthony and deacon Bob and thankfully we were able to use the interior of the church for the group shots following the ceremony, as the rain had really set in by this time. The happy couple held their wedding reception at the Willerby Manor hotel where guests enjoyed a celebratory drink and canapés before sitting down for the formal wedding breakfast. Speeches were delivered in the traditional fashion by the brides father, the groom and the best man. Afterwards, the rain had eased and Ruth and Ritch accompanied us outside into the very soggy gardens at Willerby Manor to capture some quick bridal portraits. We had a wonderful day with Ruth and Ritch and we wish them lots of love and every happiness in their future life together.

Pre Wedding Photography with Ruth & Ritchard

I am pleased to share the pre wedding photography for Ruth and Richard who are getting married in September. We met up with them yesterday at the Willerby Manor Hotel where they will be holding their wedding reception. It was a lovely summers evening and we sat in the bistro for a quick drink and a chat about their plans for the big day before heading out into the gardens to do the photography. Ruth and Ritch are a lovely couple and were such fun to work with and we are very much looking forward to their wedding!

A Rise Hall Wedding with Carole & Nigel

At the weekend we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Carole and Nigel at Rise Hall. We started our day bright and early and when we arrived the girls were having their breakfast. Time flies on each and every wedding and more often than not, we don’t seem to have very much time for bridal portraits, but on Saturday Carole was ready early, which gave us plenty of time for this section of photography. Carole wore a stunning dress from Mori Lee and her flowers were from Helen’s Floral Designs. After this we headed into the lovely reception hall at Rise to meet up with Nigel and his groomsmen. They were running a little late so we had to work very quickly as the registrars soon arrived. Carole was escorted down the aisle by her father Andrew and Jess and Phil Simpson provided the musical accompaniment. After the service guests headed outside to enjoy a celebratory drink and we were able to do the formal family group photographs. The couples cake was made by Polka Dotty Cakes and the blossom trees were provided by Prop Hire. The traditional speeches were delivered after the meal by the brides father, the groom and the best man and we were then able to do some all important couple portraits, both inside and outside of Rise Hall. It was an action packed day with live music, a sparkler guard of honour, and all rounded off beautifully by an amazing firework display. We had a wonderful day with Carole and Nigel and we wish them every happiness in their future life together.
