Pre Wedding Photography at Normanby Hall with Samantha and Kenny

It is lovely to share with you the pre wedding photography for Samantha and Kenny who are getting married in August in Barrow upon Humber. They are holding their wedding reception at Normanby Hall, so we met up with them there yesterday for the pre wedding photography shoot. It was a dull overcast evening, but that didn’t make much difference to us, as we had a fabulous location and a lovely couple to work with! Our pre wedding photography shoots are a great way for us to get to know our couple and for them to get used to being in front of the camera ahead of the big day. We really enjoyed our walk with Samantha and Kenny and found some lovely spots for their wedding photography. We are really looking forward to the big day and to creating some wedding photography magic for the happy couple!

Hull Wedding photographer with Hayley & Gareth at the Mercure Grange in Willerby

I am delighted to share with you the pre wedding photography for Hayley and Gareth who are getting married in a couple of weeks time, at the Mercure Grange in Willerby. We met up with them yesterday evening at the hotel,  and had a really great time with them on the shoot. They are a really lovely couple and were relaxed in front of the camera and really easy to work with. We are very much looking forward to photographing their special day and sharing their wedding photography with everyone.

Joannah and Paul – Wedding at the Holiday Inn, Hull Marina

I am delighted to share with you the preview of Joannah and Paul’s wedding photography. The happy couple were married yesterday at the Holiday Inn on Hull Marina. We started the day with Joannah and her bridesmaids Rhiannan, Alex, Amelia and little flower girl Rosie. They were all busy getting ready and Joannah’s mum Margaret was soon helping Joannah into her bespoke dress made specially for her by Studio by Design. The gorgeous flowers from Floral Elements completed the picture and we were able to grab some quick photographs before heading off to the meet the groom. A special mention to little usher Sam who was a real joy to work with as were Amelia and Rosie! Guests soon began to arrive, and as always time flew and the ceremony was soon underway. During the ceremony, Amelia and Sam gave a lovely reading after which Joannah and Paul read out their own special vows to one another. After the nuptials were completed, guests enjoyed a celebratory drink whilst being entertained by a magician!  We had to dodge some rain showers whilst doing the group photography and following a quick photo session with the happy couple, the meal was served. Speeches were delivered in the traditional manner after the food, and we then concluded the remainder of the requested formal shots. After a short break, everyone gathered for the evening reception during which the cake was cut. The first dance followed this and soon guests were enjoying the party! We had a really lovely day with Joannah and Paul and their family and friends and wish them every happiness in their life together.

Joannah and Paul – Pre Wedding Photography at the Holiday Inn

I am pleased to share with you the pre wedding photography shoot for Joannah and Paul who are getting married at the Holiday Inn on Hull Marina in July. We met up with them early evening and the sun was still shining although the air was still a little sharp. Following a chat about their wedding plans we all took a lovely stroll around the marina and took some photographs. Joannah and Paul are a lovely couple and we are looking forward to sharing their special day with them.

Pre Wedding Photography shoot with Emily and Michael at Elsham Hall, Lincolnshire

Yesterday we were at Elsham Hall, Lincolnshire for the pre wedding photography shoot with Emily and Michael, who are getting married in July. It was a really terrible day weather wise, with the wind howling and the rain lashing down. We took shelter in Elsham Halls lovely tea room and had a chat about the wedding arrangements with the happy couple. Fortunately just as we finished our discussion, the rain stopped and we were able to go into the gardens to grab a few quick photographs. The respite was brief and as we returned to the car, the rain started again!  So much for the British summer!  The best part of the day was getting together with Emily and Michael who are a lovely couple and are very much looking forward to photographing their wedding! Elsham Hall looked gorgeous, even in the rain, and will provide a lovely backdrop to Emily and Michaels special day.
