A Country House Wedding with Natalie & Rob

I am delighted to share the preview wedding photography for Natalie and Rob who were married at Dunedin Country House, East Yorkshire yesterday. We arrived bright and early and were able to take some images of Natalie and her bridesmaids Jess, Georgina, Holly and Danielle whilst they were busy getting ready. The bridal accommodation at Dunedin is lovely and we had lots of natural light at our disposal which helps with the photography. Natalies opted for a full length dress that was from Deborah Moores and the bridesmaids dresses were from Ted Baker. As always time runs away and before we knew it, we had to leave Natalie to meet up with the groom and his groomsmen before he met with the registrar. The weather was lovely and the boys were happy to head outside for some photographs. Rob and the groomsmen looked very smart in their suits from Marc Darcy, and whilst we were a little pushed for time, we still managed to get a good selection of photographs. The day was filled with tears and laughter and lots of poetry. Natalie gave her dad a card and read out a heart touching verse to him and there was not a dry eye in the house! Mum Joanne joined them, and laughter soon followed! The bride was then escorted down the aisle by dad Mike as the string quartet played. The grooms mother Ruth delivered a lovely reading and the happy couple exchanged their vows whilst their friends and family looked on. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a celebratory drink on the lawn, whilst we got on with the family groups. The wedding breakfast was soon under way, before the all important speeches were delivered to much laughter and applause. Our thanks to Sheila and the team at Dunedin who looked after us, and everyone else, extremely well. It really was a pleasure to work there! We had a lovely day with Natalie and Rob and we wish them every happiness in their future life together.

Charlotte & Jason’s Pre Wedding Photoshoot at Tickton Grange

We had a really fun evening yesterday with Charlotte and Jason at Tickton Grange. They are getting married at Beverley Minster in July and will be holding their wedding reception at the hotel. It was a clear evening though a little overcast which meant that we had all of the grounds at Tickton Grange at our disposal. After a chat about the plans for the big day we headed outside for the shoot and it soon became clear that Charlotte and Jason were going to make our job as wedding photographer very easy. They were both very relaxed in front of the camera and were willing to try out a few new locations for us. Needless to say that we are very excited about photographing their special day and look forward to capturing their memories.

Preview Wedding Photography for Amy & Michael at Rowley Manor

I am delighted to share the preview wedding photography for Amy & Michael who were married yesterday at Rowley Manor. We arrived bright and early and were able to take some images of Amy and her bridesmaids Gemma, Emma & Jenna whilst they were busy getting ready. The bridal suite is lovely at Rowley and we have lots of natural light at our disposal which helps with the photographs. Amy had a tea length dress that was from Bride & Co, and the bridesmaids dresses were from The Wedding Collection. As always time runs away and before we knew it, we had to leave Amy to meet up with the groom to do his portraits before he met with the registrar. Despite the drizzle the boys were happy to head outside and we worked quickly to ensure that they stayed dry for the ceremony. Michael and the groomsmen looked very smart in their suits from Brides and Grooms of Lincolnshire, and we had a good laugh with grandad Pete whilst doing the photography. The bride was escorted down the aisle by dad Graham and we were able to grab a few quick photographs during ring exchange only, as East Riding Registrars have a strict policy regarding photography during the ceremony. The forecast for the day was terrible with an amber weather warning for localised flooding, and with this in mind, we worked very quickly through the formal family groups. A bit thank you to the brides brother, Chris, who was a very able toastmaster for the day. His help in rounding everyone up was fantastic and ensured that we were able to conclude our photography in super quick time. It was just a well really, since the weather took a turn for the worst later on in the afternoon, with the power cutting off just before best and Peter gave his speak. Torrential rain followed but happily the electricity was soon back on so that guests could continue with the party. Amy and Michael are a lovely couple and we wish them every happiness in their future life together.
